The Kuhlmeyer BevelPro Type FF (also known as the Fasen-Fix) is a high-performance belt grinding machine specifically engineered for precise weld seam preparation. It is designed to replace less efficient traditional methods, providing a clean, economical, and precise bevelling solution regardless of steel quality, including fine-grain, high-strength, and chrome-nickel steels

The BevelPro Type FF is the industrial standard for sectors requiring uncompromising edge quality, including:

  • Grinding Performance: Delivers a material removal rate of approximately 80 cm³/min with an adjustable feed rate between 0.5 and 5 m/min.
  • Bevel Precision: Supports grinding angle adjustments from 0° to +60° 

Advanced Components

  • SIMATIC Operation Panel: A pivotable touch-screen panel allows for precise adjustment of the X, Y, and Z axes, feed rates, and oscillation length. It also features an ammeter to monitor power usage relative to material removal.
  • Grinding Unit: Utilises a 120 x 2300 mm grinding belt with pneumatic tensioning and a 7.5 kW motor. The unit includes an oscillation feature (10–80 mm) to ensure even belt wear and improved cooling.
  • Clamping System: The machine table includes T-notches for gauges and 150 mm wide clamps with rubber pressure strips to compensate for material thickness tolerances.
