Engineered for manual grinding, satin finishing and polishing of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components, the ZBS is ideally suited for applications such as doors, frames, cabinets, housings, furniture parts, and components used in the automotive and aerospace industries.
At the core of the ZBS is a dual grinding belt configuration arranged in a compact triangular layout, providing excellent access to the tooling and a clear, unobstructed view of the working area.
The ZBS Twin-Belt delivers significant efficiency gains, reduces processing time by up to 50% through combined roughing and finishing, and up to a further 25% with the use of the optional handling system by eliminating multiple setups.
A wide range of options and accessories is available, including additional contact drums, motorised or automatic tables, dust extraction systems, scissor lifters, extended stands for long components, and Robotec handling for automated operation.
The machine features pneumatic belt tensioning, self-centring drive pulleys, and variable belt speed control from 4 to 25 m/s, allowing operators to precisely match the grinding process to the material and application.
The grinding belts can be rotated up to 90°, making it possible to process welded corners and complex edges without manual pre-grinding. Dual synchronised motors provide flexible table height adjustment with full floor clearance, and a dedicated storage rack allows the handling unit to be safely parked away behind the machine when not in use.
